Based on the traditional techniques of Chichibu Meisen, we use textile from a Chichibu Meisen textile manufacturer that infuses modern flair with new expressive techniques. Chichibu Meisen is a silk fabric that became popular during the Taisho and early Showa periods and was designated as a national traditional craft in 2013. It is also characterized by the fact that there is no front or back side due to the hogushiori technique, in which the warp is dyed with a pattern and the weft is woven. Some have an iridescent effect where the color looks different depending on the angle, and they are lightweight, comfortable, breathable, and heat-retaining. ​ ​
